Where to eat breakfast in Bowral

Bowral, the epicentre of luxurious Southern Highlands, has almost too many options when it comes to breakfast or brunch. Sophisticated, good quality, and above all delicious, you’ll find plenty of places to grab a bite if you walk up and down Bong Bong street, however we do have our favourites.

Bowral cafes tend to be busy places (especially on weekends) so if the cafe takes a booking we recommend you do so - especially for big groups!

The Press Shop

Starting off with a bang - The Press Shop consistently delivers some of the freshest and most exciting food in Bowral. Their menu is ever changing and of course, locally sourced.

Walk-ins only.

Plantation Cafe

Can’t find a table at The Press Shop? Stroll 30 seconds down the road to Plantation Cafe. Right next door to Harry’s on Green Lane and Dirty Janes, Plantation is colourful, fresh and utterly delicious.

Walk-ins only.

Fermento Bakery

The little sister of Baked in Berrima, Fermento bakery is a must-visit little cafe on Bong Bong street. Their pastries are seriously to die for, but boy do they serve up a good breakfast or lunch, too!

Walk-ins only.

Franquette Crêperie

Franquette Crêperie is your little taste of France in the Southern Highlands, serving authentic sweet and savoury crepes.

This cafe accepts bookings, and we highly suggest you do so!

Vudu Food Bar

Vudu Food Bar is for the vegan in your life or all those boys and girls craving an acai or poké bowl. Plus, they also serve some serious coffee.
