Calling all crime and food lovers!
This March, the The Hydro Majestic is hosting one of the funnest and most unique experiences in the Blue Mountains, a 1920’s murder mystery dinner experience like you’ve never experienced before. Perfect for a big group of friends who love games nights or an intimate date night with a twist, this event will have you stepping back into the world of a new age in cinema as you attempt to solve a murder alongside crime writer Jonathon Mapletree, and his cast of suspicious characters.
What you need to know:
The silent movie era - where flapper girls reigned supreme - was as fabulous as it was short-lived, as by 1927 ‘the talkies’ hit the big screen, A.K.A movies with sound! It is now 1929 and some of the most famous movie stars were swayed to make the trip down to Australia to film the first ever Australian talkie Showgirl’s Luck.
Little did they know this silent movie would be dead forever... and so would some of its stars!
You and your group of friends will embark on a murder mystery evening like no other, guided by crime author Jonathon Mapletree.
The event includes a three-course dinner at one of the most luxurious hotels in all of New South Wales, the legendary Hydro Majestic, as well as a wine & beer package.
You are encouraged to come dressed in period attire, and over the course of the evening you can expect to question suspects, decipher clues and work to solve the case.

Dinner from 6:30 pm with pre-dinner drinks at Belgravia Bar from 5:30 pm.
